This mid-term voting is especially significant. If we lose control of the House and/or the Senate, very bad things could happen.
Our present governor has been a real
disappointment to those of us who thought he was Conservative. He has betrayed us in many ways. We must carefully select a new one.
The time between now and the Primary seems to be on fast-forward. Candidates are appearing here and there before audiences throughout Ohio. West Chester is one small township in this large state. We contacted all of them, and then searched for a date to have them come and take part in a forum at our March meeting. As you can imagine, we were unsuccessful.
However, Jim Renacci suggested sending videos. We grabbed that idea. It would work!
We asked them to introduce themselves, their running mates, and their platforms on the video, and then, to answer a few very important questions. You will have a copy of the questions they were given.
It won’t be quite the same, but pretty close. When we finish the films, we will have a very open discussion. Please come, listen, and give us your opinions on the candidates.
