Meeting 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm
Indiana Wesleyan University, Union Centre Campus

The Obama Administration “gave birth” to the Tea Party. When the people discovered his plans for the future of our nation, we acted. In the history of mankind,

no other country “of, by, and for the people” ever made it into existence.

 So much was at stake!

Over one million patriots flooded Washington D.C.

We are now at a turning point. With Trump as president, we have a chance to take back our exceptional Constitution. This may be our only chance. Let’s not blow it and be sucked into socialism!

People throughout our nation are letting their representatives know what they want. Come to our Townhall August Tea Party meeting and join our conversation.
How do we approach the coming year? How do we fight back?

A vote will be held TOMORROW, Thursday, July 6, to over-ride Governor Kasich’s line-item veto of the Medicaid expansion freeze passed by both the Ohio House and Ohio Senate.

Medicaid is for the elderly, the disabled, and children, and it needs to stay that way. Ohio is $8 billion over budget, and our governor wants to add a hundred thousand more people to the list. The Tax-payers should not be burdened paying bills for able-bodied, non-working Ohioans.

There are Republicans in offices who might want to put their own careers ahead of the people of Ohio.

Some Ohio House and Ohio Senate members have reached their term limits. Gov. Kasich could appoint them to other government positions. Some are running for state offices and others are friends of Gov. Kasich. These people might think it would profit them personally to vote with the governor for personal reasons. We the people did not vote them into office to further their own careers. They are there to represent the citizens of this state.

These are the representatives who may have a conflict of interest. We don’t know how they will vote, but it would be good to call them and request that they vote for the Ohio taxpayers, and against the governor’s veto. IF YOU CAN, CALL TONIGHT AND LEAVE A MESSAGE.

Join us, August 1st, in a town-hall meeting. Let’s discuss the importance of our mission at this critical time. We’ll decide what the focus of the group should be for the coming year. November will bring elections both for school board
(3 positions) and trustees
(2 positions). These offices of importance need to be carefully considered. We will be choosing people who make decisions regarding our children and our money.
Help us line up a program of information and action to make a difference in West Chester and in our lives. We need your input.

Please call or email our District 8 Congressman Warren Davidson to thank him for recently co-signing H.R. 377, a bill which designates the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. That organization has infiltrated our government and continues to influence national security. Their stated goal is to substitute Sharia for our Constitution.
Rep. Davidson also recently introduced the Article One Restoration Resolution. The resolution would advance the House GOP’s BetterWay agenda by requiring a review of statutes that give the Executive Branch inappropriate lawmaking authority. The last Administration took advantage of its real and perceived discretion to increase taxes, stretch the Clean Water Act to enact WOTUS, undermine welfare work requirements, and attempt to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. “Our Founders intended for the laws of this country to be written by those who are accountable to the voters. Unfortunately, for too long Congress neglected the hard work of legislating, and instead passed vague laws that give way too much authority to unaccountable bureaucrats. That must stop, ” said Davidson. “We owe it to the American people that the laws we write are clear, transparent, and Constitutionally limited.”
Support this resolution by urging all House members to sign onto this and share with others.

Indiana Wesleyan University

West Chester, OH 45069
Our June meeting will feature Economist
He’ll touch on the subject of our national debt which continues to hover at 20T and talk about free market economics. He’ll entertain you with his humor which is evident in the three books he’s written. They’re masterpieces of conservative humor and inspiration.
“The Free Market Warrior” was born and raised in Massachusetts and spent most of his adult life in New York City. Before becoming active in politics, Spivack worked for several non-profits and as a management consultant for both profit and non-profit companies.
Spivack founded “Free Market Warrior” in 2009 in an effort to make a positive difference in American politics and economics. His “Free Market Warrior” store was expelled from Concord Mills Mall in North Carolina in July of 2009 for selling material critical of the Obama Administration. Owners were Democrats.
Since then Loren has devoted his time to teaching conservative groups about free market economics. He conducts “Economic Literacy” seminars across the United States. So far, he has delivered his famous seminar on “Economic Literacy” to over 300 groups in 25 states.
Join us at 6:30 for snacks and 7:00 for the WCTP meeting. We’re looking forward to seeing you.
Activism Update
Ohio House Bill 178 and Ohio Senate Bill 128 are both bills being considered. The passage of these bills would cost Ohio families and businesses up to $300 million annually to bail out First Energy’s Davis Besse and Perry nuclear plants. It would also discourage private investment in lower cost energy generation.
(more details, go to )
If the bailout passes and discourages private investment in new competitive, low cost power generation, ratepayers across Ohio could see increases in their electric bills.
Being free market advocates who believe in competition not government picking winners and losers, we strongly oppose this bill and hope you will join us in this endeavor.
Activists will be going to Columbus to testify against this legislation this Tuesday, June 16, and would greatly appreciate your support. If you agree please sign the petition at
, so we can collectively shine a light on the opposition of these bills in Southwest Ohio. The last thing we need is an increase in our utility bills and another government mandate!
