AUGUST 8th ELECTION – PROTECT OUR OHIO CONSTITUTION FROM OUTSIDE INFLUENCES: WHY WE SHOULD VOTE “YES” ON ISSUE 1 on August 8, 2023: WHAT ISSUE 1 DOES:– Requires any future constitutional amendment to be approved by at least 60% of the citizens votes. Currently special interests can hijack Ohio’s Constitution with a well-funded campaign and only a 50% plus 1 vote. Our Ohio Constitution should require more than a simple majority to ensure the issues are widely popular, highly vetted and clearly in the best interest of the vast majority of Ohioans. – Eliminates the 10-day cure period to gather additional signatures for an initiative petition proposing a constitutional amendment. – Requires any initiative petition proposing a constitutional amendment to be signed by at least 5% of the electors of each county in the state instead of the current requirement of only half of the state counties. |

He’s been at our meetings the last few months with his newest book, “…Than Living on My Knees” and first one, “Freedom’s Nightmare” to sell. They sent us this article which shows how corporations are so captured by the “woke” ESG (Environment, Social, Government) culture. Our Tuesday speaker Jonathan Broadbent educated us about ESG and the fact that so many corporations are going “woke” because top financial bankers and government are “nudging” them to do so.
