BLESSINGS TO ALL OF YOU! **************************** DEWINE VETOED THE SAFE ACT, HB 68!! https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/12/breaking-republican-governor-mike-dewine- vetoes-bill-that/ Now Legislature Must Override Veto Tom Z.: Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is getting massive criticism statewide and nationally for his veto today of the SAFE Act that would keep boys out of girls’ sports, protect Ohio children from transgender indoctrination, and ban hormone- blocking drugs and gender mutilating surgeries on minors. The most unfortunate thing is that DeWine actually believes the untrue things he said in his announcement defending his veto decision! He said that he was against the bill because he believes that it is better for parents to make the decisions for their children’s care instead of the state – referring to “transgender care”. Completely ignoring the fact that in the current situation the “state” is forcing 142,074 Young girls to have to compete against boys in girls’ sports without parents having any say in that decision at all! In fact, DeWine completely avoided the entire issue at the heart of HB 68 which was getting boys out of girls’ sports and locker rooms in making his veto! So while the Governor clearly made the wrong decision, ignore that! Our focus needs to be on making sure that the House and the Senate vote to Override his Veto. The SAFE ACT was passed in December with veto proof majorities! They can call a special session for that purpose right after New Years, or they can do it when the House reconvenes in January. They just need to do it. What YOU need to do is click on these links to call/write to YOUR State Senator AND Your State House Representative and DEMAND that they hold a vote and Override the Veto!Let them know that if they do not Override the Veto then we will have to question why we should vote to re-elect them again in the March Primary!
