| OUR MARCH 5TH MEETING AT THE WHITE HOUSE COMMUNITY CENTER AT DUTCHLAND WOODS IS CANCELLED! We did not want to cancel but some on the Left sent an email to the Dutchland Woods board to alert them that we were having a meeting there. There were some on the board that supported us but the manager (who is not on the board) felt there were enough that did NOT want us, even though there wasn’t an actual vote on the matter. The manager made the decision to tell us we shouldn’t plan on having our Tuesday meeting there. This is what he said to us: “Strong push back from Association residents and responses so far from the entire Association Board are leaning toward not accepting a rental contract from your group. To help you plan for Tuesday, I would say that Dutchland Woods White House will not be an option for you.” It sounded as though they DID NOT want us to meet there. However, the board NEVER REALLY voted and is saying that WE decided to drop it. We did so ONLY because of what the manager stated. We also were made aware that there were protests being organized and we were concerned for our people coming to the meeting. We would need to have security in place and not enough time to do that. We are NOT giving up as the West Chester Tea Party. Our meeting was going to be about the U.S. Constitution and there is no reason for us to be silenced. We will be sending you more information about this week’s events very soon. |
