Campaign For Liberty First Meeting !!

Dear Patriot,

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we are announcing the launch of the local Butler County  Campaign for Liberty (C4L) group!

Part of the nationwide Campaign for Liberty organization, Butler County C4L will function as a watchdog group for local politicians and governments through deliberate and effective activism aimed precisely at reclaiming our liberties.

In other words… we are here to Campaign for Liberty!

Please join us for our kick-off meeting on Tuesday, June 16, and invite all your liberty-minded friends to this event!

At this meeting we will formulate a response to the Lakota School Board’s scandalous planned give-away of the Old Union School and will double our efforts to roll back oppressive residential zoning regulations. We need YOUR help to fight back!

WEST CHESTER TEA PARTY JUNE MEETING!

WEST CHESTER TEA PARTY MEETING JUNE 18
WHEN: THURSDAY, June 18

WHERE: LIFE CHURCH  8480 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd – Rt 42 – West Chester, OH 45069

TIME:  6:30 for Food and Fellowship

7:00 p.m. Meeting

There is so much to talk about at our June Tea Party meeting! The agenda is full. People from both sides of the Old Union School controversy were invited to address the members. Randy Oppenheimer (PR Officer for Lakota Schools) and Superintendent Karen Mantia accepted the invitation, then declined. Danielle Richardson will bring us up to date on this issue, and follow her presentation by Q & A.

Charis Peterson will inform the group about two immediately important issues facing us in Ohio. She will ask all of us to join with her in a town-hall discussion of possible actions the TP could take. Come prepared to give your views. The more ideas, the better the outcome. Each person’s take on a subject stimulates ideas from others. We need YOUR input. We’ll carefully watch the time, and leave 25 minutes for each topic. That way we can cover everything in the time we have.

MEMBERS NEEDED: We need a secretary and two other people to join the TP board. If you are passionate about saving our country, have time to give, and are willing to use that time as a TP activist, please apply.

We need you to tell us what you’d like to see the TP do, and what role you’d like to play, or how you can contribute to the group. The board will follow up by talking with each one and answering any questions you may have.

SENATE TO VOTE ON PATRIOT ACT SUNDAY!

We’re just 3 days from when Senators will return to Washington to resume debate on the government’s bulk collection of personal data. We’ve got to make a final stand to stop this unwarranted government spying.

While these Senators are back home in their states, we need to make sure we do everything we can to let them know that we won’t accept this unlawful action by our government anymore.

From Rep. Justin Amash (R, MI) “You will read all sorts of stories and headlines about how the latest USA FREEDOM Act (H.R. 2048) ends “bulk” collection. It doesn’t. In fact, the bill expressly authorizes, for the first time, the NSA, FBI, and other government agencies to unconstitutionally collect data in bulk on potentially millions of law-abiding Americans. H.R. 2048 actually expands the statutory basis for the large-scale collection of most data.  On May 20th Rep. Amash, along with 58 of his House colleagues, sent a letter to the Senate urging stronger surveillance reforms to protect privacy

Call these Senators and tell them to stand up for our privacy and stop the mass surveillance of innocent Americans! Vote for the original Freedom Act of 2013!

Here is Rep. Amash’s explanation on why the Freedom Act H.R. 2048 is so bad.

In the end, Amash concludes, “H.R. 2048 falls woefully short of reining in the mass collection of Americans’ data, and it takes us a step in the wrong direction by specifically authorizing such collection in violation of the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution.

“Americans, and members of Congress, should DEMAND that Congress instead pass the original, bipartisan version of the USA FREEDOM Act from 2013, which strengthened-not weakened-The Patriot Act’s Section 215’s relevance standard to end bulk collection, while still allowing the government the flexibility it needs to pursue genuine threats against the United States.”

COME, BRING THE FAMILY AND MARCH WITH WC TEA PARTY IN THE MEMORIAL DAY PARADE!

MEET AT OLD UNION SCHOOL

9:30 A.M.

Join the West Chester Tea Party in the Memorial Day Parade to honor our veterans and show our appreciation for those LIVING AND DEAD who have fought so hard over 200+ years to preserve our liberties. Watch this wonderful patriotic video.

Come, bring the family and celebrate this Memorial Day! It’s a West Chester tradition!

Those of you who might have a truck or car that you’d like to drive in the parade, meet us at Old Union School at 9:30 a.m. Those that can’t walk would so appreciate being able to ride in a vehicle. We are planning on having patriotic music with West Chester Tea Party banners (YOU CAN ALSO MAKE YOUR OWN SIGNS) and we’d also love volunteers to carry our banner in the parade? If you’d be interested, email using the address below.

If you own a WCTP t-shirt, please be sure to wear it!!! We have a few to give out. Be sure to dress in red, white and blue.  Bring the whole family, little ones in wagons and on bikes, decorated or not.

Let the community see and hear us so they may have the courage to stand with us in our determination to restore the Constitution and our liberties. Remember the more people who WALK with us, the more impact we’ll make. Your community and country needs you!

Email the address below if you are able to come. We want everyone to know that the Tea Party is still alive and active! The Tea Party is truly the last group of citizens standing up to this lawless government!

Yours in Liberty,Dick Knodel, Chairman
