OUR SPEAKER FOR JULY 5TH IS:
LINDA HARVEY
The media ministry of Linda Harvey is an outgrowth of her Christian faith and her background in marketing and public relations. In 1995, she founded Mission:America (www.missionamerica.com) to examine current cultural issues from a Christian perspective. Linda hosts a weekly radio show on the Salem Media station in Columbus, OH, WRFD (880 AM and 104.5 FM ), www.thewordcolumbus.com, as well as daily commentaries. She is also a frequent guest on national radio talk shows and her columns appear at AFA’s The Stand, World Net Daily, Olive Tree Views, American Thinker and other media outlets. She is also a regular conference speaker.Mrs. Harvey has spoken on Capitol Hill and testified many times before state legislative committees. Harvey is the author of two books, Not My Child: Contemporary Paganism and the New Spirituality and Maybe He’s Not Gay: Another View on Homosexuality. Linda graduated from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) with graduate work at Miami, Ohio State University and Trinity Lutheran Seminary. JULY 5TH MEETING

The Board decided that it would be better to have Independent gubernatorial candidate, Niel Petersen, come and speak to us closer to the election. He was very gracious in accepting our decision. We would love to see him win over DeWine but it will take a monumental effort on the part of his team and Ohioans who will work going D2D to elect him. We don’t want to split the vote so that means Petersen would have to have overwhelming support or divine intervention.

As a former advertising executive, she managed multi-million dollar advertising campaigns, primarily in the health care field. She was formerly Director of Marketing Communications at Ohio State University Hospitals. In 1995, she founded Mission America, a Christian pro-family organization tracking current cultural issues. The organization’s flagship website is www.missionamerica.com, with articles on current social issues, weekly e-newsletters sent to a national audience and an Ohio-wide radio show on the Salem Network station in Columbus, OH, 880 AM WRFD (www.wrfd.com ). Our speaker for our June 7th meeting is
BRENDAN SHEA
a member of the Ohio State School Board, District 10,
Green and Clark counties.
And we will also have District 52
Rep. Jennifer Gross
who will update us on education bills in the Ohio House.
Shea is in the middle of his 4 yr. term and he is a very important voice for conservatives. From an article in the Dayton Daily News in 2020, when Shea was a candidate for State School Board:
“Shea said he’s heard from families who are concerned about Planned Parenthood sex education programs in schools, religious liberty issues and eventually a rush to require COVID-19 vaccination. “I’m a parent myself … and I want to bring the voice of a concerned parent who wants to be engaged and wants to have a say,” he said. “One who certainly doesn’t want to be forced to do something that truly violates a deeply held belief.”’
That was 2 yrs ago and anyone who saw our movie last night, “Whose Children are They?”, realizes
it’s worse now. He’s learned a lot about Ohio education since then and it will be interesting to hear
what he has to say.

His Lt. Gov. candidate is Mike Stewart and they pastor a Dayton church together. More information to follow. In the meantime, Niel and Mike are in a parade tomorrow that you might want to attend.

MAY 31ST MOVIE NIGHT

We weren’t able to deliver all of our flyers about CRT and children’s vaccines last year as winter came on us but have attached strips to them telling people that the WCTP is showing this movie. The strips say: “Come see the movie, ‘Whose Children Are They?’ (ADULT MATERIAL) and learn about
