Group withdraws Ohio’s Electoral College Amendment
Legal Counsel, McTigue and Colombo, LLC, informed the Ohio Secretary of State that they have officially withdrawn their petition process. If passed, this would have added an amendment to Ohio’s Constitution requiring Ohio’s 18 Electoral College Electors to cast their votes for the candidate who won the national popular vote. Ohioans to decide if they want to make their presidential vote irrelevant
On November 5th, 2019, among the usual general election candidate races, Ohioans may be asked to vote on an Ohio Constitution Amendment that ironically, could make their Presidential vote irrelevant. Portman Resists Lindsey Graham’s Call for New Special Counsel to Investigate FBI
From The Ohio Star – Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and other Republicans are calling for an investigation, and possibly the appointment of a new special counsel, into the FBI surveillance of the Trump campaign. Graham told reporters on Monday that he wants to investigate the surveillance warrants obtained by the FBI against Carter Page, an adviser to the Trump campaign, which were ultimately used to wiretap Page.
