ANOTHER ALERT FROM SWORT (Southwest Ohio for Responsible Tech)
The U.S. House Commerce Committee in May advanced a bill (H.R. 3557) to Gut
Local Zoning and Community Input and Advance Corporate Interests!
The U. S. Conference of Mayors on broadband in June stated in resolution that they
OPPOSE the bill which would pre-empt local governments’ rights-of-way compensation
and management authority, zoning powers, cable franchising authority, and property rights—
and is urging the House and Senate not to pass this legislation.
Please contact your reps and tell them NO on H.R. 3557!!

Rob Tuttle spoke to us recently about Convention of States. He teaches U. S. Constitution classes with the Institute of the Constitution and is affiliated with Building Blocks for Liberty as well. He’s passionate about making sure that Issue 1 passes on August 8. Come and hear him explain WHY!!
Jim is a founding member of our West Chester Tea Party and decided in 2011 that Americans needed a better understanding of the U.S. Constitution (and the Ohio Constitution) and since then he’s devoted his time to this cause. -BUTLER being one!
There is no bipartisan chain of custody as soon as a vote is made electronically on a voting machine or a paper ballot is inserted into a tabulator. We The People have no way to know if our votes are actually counted as directed on our ballot. This is further validated by the inability to view the software running on any of the voting machines or tabulators.
With paper ballots and counting by hand, procedures would be in place for bipartisan chain of custody throughout the entire voting and counting process

made some important First Amendment rulings this week: 1) Their decision was that institutions of higher learning cannot use race as a factor in admissions. “No student should have to worry that they will be prevented from entry into college because of their race, and thanks to today’s ruling, no student will,”
